Terry Lynn Burchel was born on January 20, 1955 in Texarkana, Texas to Rev. A.L. and Dororthy Evelyn Burchel. He passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the age of 67 in Pearsall, Texas. He graduated from Dilley High School in 1975 and went on to graduate from Howard Payne University in 1978. He was an avid student of the Bible and knew and loved Jesus and was a member of Dilley First Baptist Church for over 50 years. Terry was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns.

Terry is survived by his loving sisters, Alva Williams of Lawton, Oklahoma; Deborah Wall and husband, Gary, of Walters Oklahoma; nephew, Frank Petty and wife, Veronica of Lawton, Oklahoma; niece, Kendra Petty of Las Vegas, Nevada;
nephew, Daniel Wall and wife, Nicole of Lawton, Oklahoma; nephew, Joshua Wall and wife, Cassidy of Elgin, Oklahoma; 5 great nephews and 3 great nieces. He is also survived by many wonderful caregivers and friends at Pearsall Nursing and Rehab Center who have loved, cared for, and provided a home for him for many years.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dilley Cemetery.
